The Robin

Here is a lovely poem we learned about a robin recently. We painted the robin and we used red felt or crepe paper  for the red breast. 

A visit from Erika's Mum and Dad to tell us all about Africa

An enormous THANK YOU to Erika's mum and dad who visited our class and told us all about Africa. Their presentation was wonderful and we all learned so much. They told us about the size of Africa (it's enormous!!!) and all about African food, clothes, animals and jewellery. We even got to try on some jewellery from Africa and they showed us how the yams were pounded.

Here we are at play time. We love play time and we really enjoy making things and having fun.

Pancake Tuesday

We celebrated Pancake Tuesday by eating delicious pancakes in class.We covered them in Maple Syrup and a little lemon juice. They were delicious!! We learned how to make pancakes also and we memorised a poem about pancakes..
